Stretch marks are VERY hard to get rid of, and it gets harder as they get older.
The problem is in skin elasticity, if you grow really fast, or lose or gain weight really fast, your skin doesnt have enough time to adapt to the new shape, so somtimes it can stretch too far and get those "crack" looking stretch marks.
Drink lots and lots of water to help your skin elasticity.
Go to the store and buy a lotion for stretch marks, they usually have formulas for it in the lotion section. If there is nothing specifically for stretch marks, pick up some Cocao Butter lotion or cream. Whatever you end up getting, after every time you shower and dry off, while your skin is soft, Apply a good amount of lotion and massage it into the stretch marks. Its important you massage it because it helps stimulate the blood vessels.
Some people get better results than others, if nothing works just give it time, they fade slightly after years go by.
I went from 220 pounds to 170 pounds over the course of about 15 months and got some stretch marks on my arms and sides, they were not that bad and I heard they would go away over time so I didnt do anything about them. After about 3 years they were more of a clear color but I wanted more improvement so I used some cocao butter. I found out that you get better improvement in the early stages, so it didnt help that much for me.

hi.. theres really not much you can do for stretch marks except put cocoa / shea butter on the area daily to soften the marks... once you have them they will be there forever but it does fade over time and become less noticable.. its very common for women even men.. just make sure you moisturize the stretched skin area

Once you get stretch mark it will be there forever, unless u do surgery. There are many product out there for this skin disfunction. The creams n lotion can only fade it out but it will still be there.
There is one fav product i notice a lot of people buy for this problem: Avon Re-Fine stretch mark Smoother

I sell a product called Fade Away ($30.50) that makes the stretch marks fade. They will not go away completely but it does minimize the darkness. I have had many customers love it! You can visit my website to see this product... www.pureromancenow.com Click on Spa Products and it is under the Body Repair Set package. Thanks.

Sadly there isn't much you can do, keep the skin moisturized and lose the baby weight or whatever caused them, but there isn't much that can be done even though people spend millions of dollars a year on 'cures'. If it bothers you too much you can try seeing a dermotologist. Good Luck!
