Yes she is. Her new single "Deja Vu" just hit the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and people still like her. So yeah she is popular.

NO. The hip-hop/ "bling-bling"/rap thing is (thank God!) losing it's sizzle and is fad-ingggg :) ! Bout darn time, too. Disco wished it could've lasted as long!
What's the new ride ahead for black music artists? Would you believe a return to the '70's is around the bend? Frankly, I doubt today's urban music "artists" have the actual talent (which such a genre calls for) to successfully pull it off : I can't WAIT to see this unfold.....gawd, what a show that's about to unfold. Any bets on whether this angle lives or dies--again???

of course she's still popular, why wouldnt she be popular?...i would say that she's one of America's most favorite female artists...she can sing, dance, she's been in movies...i mean she's a triple threat i guess you can say: sing, dance, and act...so yeah i think she's still popular.
