There was something there for sure . the question is why didn't you see your Dr. about that. When I was pregnant with my so the first the Dr. told me was I should eat HEALTHY food which include meat chicken fruits vegetables and dairy and I should drink a lot of water having a baby doesn't mean you should be eating for two it means you should know what is usefully for the both of you .He also said that I should also do some light exercises . I gained 14pounds and I lost all the baby weight and had a healthy baby. The weight is not just from the baby it is also from the aby cord and fluids and the breast milk and fat . If you want any more information there is this great web site www.babycenter.com
Good luck with your next baby

No, that's normal! I actually lost about 15 lbs. the first four months of my first pregnancy. I started to gain that weight back around my fifth month.

No, you shouldn't eat like a pig, because it is very hard to lose the weight after you have the baby. It might put you at a higher risk for the pregnancy diabetes! Although I'm not completely sure.

I gained weight everywhere with my first, but I had a lot of water weight gain, also! That really sucks, I swelled up everywhere. Another reason you should watch what you eat! Definately, watch your salt intake!

Sorry for your loss, and I wish you good luck the next time! Don't worry so much.....you'll do fine!
