Contact your states Attorney General's office. Writing a check you know is going to bounce, or not paying employees witihin a specified amount of time after they worked is a crime. The AG's office may also give you other resources regarding his stiffing of not only employees, but other creditors as well. I had a problem like this with an employer once. I called the AG's office. They were helpful.
You might also want to hire a private lawyer to represent the workers of the business.

contact your local district attorney, this is a criminal matter - handing out bad checks can mean jail time.
of course, the company might get shut down, and you'd probably lose your job, but it's going to happen sooner or later anyways.

I suggest you contact your local district attorney. This is completely illegal! Of course, they may shut your boss down and you may have to look for work. But, that may be better for you in the long run.

I agree with whoisgod71, but most importantly find another job. How long can this company last?

It is illegal to write checks that you know you cannot cover. He must be paying huge amounts of fees to his bank! I would ask your bank who you can report him to for check fraud.

its time for you to either go talk to him and explain to him about the potential danger of the situation and if he doesnt listen, then you need to go ahead and be a whistleblower and go get some legal consuling....good luck

time to get a new job.
are you in a union? maybe you could go on strike. even if there is no union, you could have a 'wildcat' strike with your co-workers. also if he is deep in debt maybe a collection agency can do something about it.
