There never has been a Palestine. The Arabs who call themselves Palestine's are the Arabs that none of their Arab brethren wanted in their countries. Now they fight the Israelis for the land given to the Israelis at the end of WW2. Have you seen any other Arab country coming to defend them.No. The are displaced people who need a home too. Maybe they should be more willing to work with Israel, who tried for the first time, to make peace with them.Hamas need to be disbanded, since they took over the Palestinian government and refuse to deal with peace they are causing even more heartbreak for their people.

Palestine doesn't exist. The Romans renamed Judea and Galilee as Palestine (the Latinzied word for Philistine) after the Diaspora to discourage Jewish unity in the region. Modern Trans-Jordanian Arabs took it up as their "heritage" after Israeli independence in 1948 to create a base of resistance rather than ever accepting that the Jews won back their homeland.

Palestine never existed till Turkish Syria was split into French and British sectors with the British sector being renamed Palestine.

The French split their part of Syria into Syria and Lebanon and the British split their part of Syria renamed Palestine into Palestine and Transjordan.

The Palestinian Arabs are really Syrian Arabs, furthermore 2 3rds of the Arabs in Jordan deem themselves Palestinian (including the Queen of Jordan).

Israel rightfully belongs to the Jews, end of story.

It's called Jordan.

The area of Palestine was split into several regions by the United Nations and signed treaties just after World War II. Part of that region became Israel. The rest was later renamed Jordan.

BTW, most of those who condemn Israel for holding the West Bank and Gaza forget that Israel took control of those territories after it was attacked by all of the surrounding neighboring countries. It won that war, and retained those territories that it had acquired during the war. And every time Israel has tried to give them back their freedom, Israel just gets attacked again.

I'm not a fan of invasion and land-grabs. But I oppose double standards even more.
