Stand on the edge of a step or even a really sturdy bench/chair, with only your toes and the ball of your foot on the surface, point and flex your feet. This really targets the calf muscles. You can even hold 5 to 10 Lb weights in your hands to add some resistance. Just do lots of reps.

Stand on a top step, (make sure you hold something to support you like a banister) and raise one foot onto the ball of your footand hold for a few seconds. Do about 15, then repeat on the next leg. Its meant to tone up the calf muscle.
Make sure you warm up first i.e. do some stretches so you dont pull yer muscle.

I just do a lot of cardio. So, 30 minutes 3-4 times a week on the eliptical, treadmill or bike. Make sure that you stretch a lot afterwards.
If this is boring, you could also try kickboxing or jogging.

Running will burn the most calories and will thin your legs out the fastest. All the isometric exercises will tone, but won;t have the calorie burning effect of running on your toes.

those are good ones. i think doing that stepper machine's good for that too. oh, and this thing that you push on with your feet. i don't know how to dicride it without mixing you up with a machine that works your thighs. but yeah.
good luck in finding what you need.
