Italy. Defensively Buffon, Cannavaro have been immense and Lippi has lined up tactically against all countries. He has changed the formation from the start from 4-4-2 with Gildarino and Toni to playing 4-4-1-1, with Tottl playing in the withdrawn role. With Gattuso as the bull in the midfield, it has allowed wingbacks to go forward as much as they can. All round Italy have played the best World Cup. But in saying this, I am surprised they are in the final.
