take you ticket into a store that sells the tickets, have the scan it. It'll tell you if you have one. If you are talking millions, you would have heard about it on the local news, including what store the ticket was bought.

In the state of Texas, any winner over $600. has to be 'cashed' by the comptrollers office (they'll cut you a check). Never won anything over 599 so I don't know if you'll need to pay taxes....I'm sure you'll have to claim it as income at the end of the year.
