If this plays out he could well be extradicted to face the civilian authority in Iraq. I do think sociopathic individuals exist in all walks of life this individual (Green) should go to Iraq and face his accusers or face his former Army company enmass. His company would make him wish for civilian authority.

As I see it in the Army Times these guys are pretty hot about this SOB tarnishing the rep of noble soldiers that perform their duties.. One scuzbag like this does more to screw up moral and goodwill then a suicide bomber or beheading will.

The old adage and eternal question is truly IS, the enemy of my enemy truly my friend?

No. He should be taken care of in our courts WITH the Iraqi government part of the proceedings. If the Iraqis would be satisfied with the proceedings, not to mention the media coverage.

I think so. But I doubt there would be a long trial there like there will be here in the US, where the courts and lawyers can drag it out for YEARS.

The whole story makes me sick.
