I put in an above ground pool from the Costco a month ago & it appears to be moving (one side going up & one side going down) .. very slow process though) . . I 'somewhat' leveled the area before putting it up with a truckload of sand . . but we were about two trucks from being level. It has been a month & the pool isnt waterfalling or anything . . but I cant fill it up all the way (4ft) because one side is drooping .. Has this happened to anyone else? How level does the ground need to be?

Don't level it by raising the low side up. Cut the high side down. Weight of the water will cause the fill to compact and go out of level.

I worked with above and in floor swimming pools for quite a few years. to maintain the pool is partly based upon your filter out and what chemical device which you will use to sanitize it. there is quite no short answer for this question. I often propose brushing the floor and partitions on a daily basis, and vacuum the pool backside weekly. it is mandatory to maintain the upward push of algae down. do no longer wait till finally the water turns green to start looking after it. even with the incontrovertible fact that, in case you finally end up in this problem make advantageous the water chemistry is balanced and marvel it with 2lbs of Calcium Hypochlorite (non-stabilized) consistent with 10,000 gallons. If the water isn't balanced the marvel scientific care won't artwork to its complete quantity. I additionally propose, in case you're employing chlorine, marvel it with Calcium Hypochlorite 1lb consistent with 10,000 gallons. actual everyone seems to be misled approximately marvel remedies. they think of that's purely for establishing and closing. incorrect. Flooding the pool with chlorine weekly prevents great quantities bacteria from turning out to be. yet another significant merchandise to keeping a pool is water stability, which comprises pH, Calcium Hardness, and complete Alkalinity. you may desire to verify those ranges weekly, somewhat, complete Alkalinity and pH. Pool keep's often grant unfastened water tests and that they are able to allow you recognize precisely what to characteristic and how. As for filters it relies upon which filter out you have. maximum filters often run at 8 to 12psi. in case you have a sand filter out purely computer screen the tension till it reaches a tension bigger than what it often runs at or whilst the flow of water return is somewhat vulnerable; backwash the filter out. It is likewise the same for Diatomaceous Earth (DE) filters. they might desire to be backwashed each so oftentimes whilst the tension rises above 8 to 10psi AND top off the DE. The DE is what filters the water, it’s lost once you backwash and it needs to get replaced.
