I always forget things too! Doesn't help that I always wait until the last minute to pack. I have to pack tonight for a trip first thing in the morning. Wonder what I will forget this time!

I agree! I always wind up forgetting something so now I:
1) When you remember something you forgot, write it down and leave the list in the suitcase so you can check it when you pack for the next trip, add to it when you remember something else, and can check things off the next time. More than likely this will trigger your mind to remembering certain items.
2) I have a "toiletry bag" that I keep all my trial sized items in and when I pack things up, I just grab the bag and bring it along. I keep it stocked. It saves time and keeps things of that nature together.
3) In the coming days of the trip, I begin making a list of what I'll need as it comes to me. For example, I plan for all types of weather - shorts, pants, skirts, sweats, etc. If I'm going to the beach- all beach essentials- lotion, sunblock, shades, bathing suit, towel... group them!

I always bring too much stuff when I pack. I don't usually forget anything since I pack everything except the kitchen sink.

I love packing for holidays. It's the unpacking I hate.I usually make a list of all the stuff I want and I start planning a few days before I have to leave.Pretty easy.I haven't regretted forgetting something.

I don't mind it, I have traveled so much though that I can do it blindfolded and get it done in under 30 minutes. It depends on what kind of trip I am doing, business trips take more thought but now that I have kids, I have to pack for them too. That kind of makes it a little bit of a hassle now.

A few days before I go on a trip, I make a checklist of everything I need to take. Then when I am packing I go over the checklist and check everything off. It has worked for me quited well.

I forget something every time. I always have to drop through Wal-Mart when I get where I am going. I do have a checklist, though, and every time I forget something, I add that item to it. Eventually, I should run out of things to forget (and space in my trunk :)
