Should Gov't be removed? I am guessing you meant God? First, the phrase "seperation of church and state" is not found in the constitution. It was phrase used by Jefferson. The first amendment only says that Gov't will not set up a National religion or do anything to fund one over another. So, going by the constitution, there is nothing that says we must take God out of schools, parks, etc. Basically, it just says we should treat everyones choice of religion the same and not push a particular view point. Putting the 10 commandments in a court house is not saying that everyone should become a Christian. However, if, we use this definition, Christians must be willing to accept seeing other religions icons around and not be offended.
