Fleece throws? Baby blankets?
Fleece is very easy to work with - and you can make plenty of no-sew blankets if you don't have a machine. Talk to your local fabric store if you don't know how to make a no-sew fleece blanket. I made a ton last year for Christmas gifts.

I'm a knitter, so dishrags or scarves are always a top choice for me. There are crafting sites on the web--About.com has one, as well as HGTV (Carol Duval). You should be able to get plenty of ideas there. I have also made jewelry using the stretchy cord and bugle beads (available at any craft store)--great for ankle bracelets. Don't forget a drop of Crazy Glue on the knot. Plus I am a Red Hatter, so I make most of my outrageous necklaces and bracelets . Memory wire is another great thing--It is available at craft stores or most Walmarts. Just bend in one end, string beads, and bend in the other end. One pack can be cut into thirds, and you still have a nice sized bracelet. Enjoy and HAVE FUN!

I make things for local charities to sell for their fundraising craft shows. Here are some thing that you can make that are very creative, sell well and have inexpensive components.
Cards. I use images from old greeting cards, wrapping paper, jewelry findings, buttons, lace, anything I can find around the house. I leave the insides blank so the purchaser can use them for any occasion.
Gift Boxes. I save unique boxes I receive products in and decorate them in a collage style with the same components as I do the cards.
Bottles. I save unique bottles, embellish them and fill them with baby oil, scented and dyed epsom salts.
Pins. I use large buttons as bases with pin findings glued to the back. I load the button base with tiny silk flowers, lace, jewelry findings, tassels, whatever I can pull off of clothes in the donation bag or find around the house.
Wall hangings. I take scraps of fabrics, cut an image such as a fleur de lis, and glue them together in a tapestry style. I use Aileens washable fabric glue. I attach the hanging to a painted wooden dowl and attach tassels at the ends.

Hey there! It all really depends on what you like to do. I just started polymer clay figure making. You can buy the materials at any Michael's or Hobby Lobby, get a book and follow directions. You need to by equipment to shape and form your clay, and have an oven to bake the clay in so it hardens. Whatever you decide, good luck! :)

My sister and I made stress balls once - you take two ballons and cut the ends off (the part you blow into). You fill one ballon with flour then put the other balloon over it to hold everything in. I can put other stuff in them to make them harder or softer (like birdseed, sand, etc.) This is super cheap and easy - make a bunch of different colors.

Buy some cheap wood frames and mosaic them with tiles, broken pieces of china-- glue them on and then grout them-- It's fun and easy and quick to make--
Buy small tiles - and mosaic them -- add a magnet to the back and voila--
