I have used the moisturizer bar you find at any store and Vaseline, but do you know of something else more effective? My lip is always peeling and to making it worst I bite it (I'm trying not to) any help?

Maybe try using a not so good tasting lip balm, so your not tempted to bite on them. Exfoliate your lips to remove the flaky dry skin then apply a soothing moisturizing lip balm. Apply your lip balm a night before bed, just so the products can penetrate longer.

use Arbonne's lip saver, this lip saver, with SPF 30, provides maximum preventative care … including antioxidant ingredients that refresh, rejuvenate and soothe. Avoid using vaseline, this product derrives from petroleum and when you expose yourself to the sun it is very harmful, what you have to always do is read the ingredients, use only botanically based products, using products formulatted with mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin (#1 is the sun) it is like rubbing car oil and exposing yourself to the sun, so be very careful. Also avoid using products formulatted with animal products or by products for these come from dead animals, you see there are these plants called rendering plants and what they do is pick all dead animals and put them in a huge pot, squash everything inside, boil it and the oil that comes to the top is what other companies use to formulate their "beauty" products... As i said before, i would recommend arbonne's lip saver, one of the ingredients is
Linden, this supports the appearance of soft, beautiful skin. A gentle but thorough cleanser, linden extract is known to wash away cellular debris, while its water-binding properties soothe skin, promoting a more youthful appearance. I buy my products online at: https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arbonnepuertorico.nsf/p1/1?OpenDocument&shoppingcart=1 ... this lip saver you could find it under antiaging before sun section....

You need to drink a lot of water and also use lip moisturizer, and

Do not use chap-stick or any balm. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. If the dryness is severe or painful, see a doctor or allergy specialist.

Rosebud Salve (found at some Beauty Supply Stores and definitely at Sephora.com). It's fantastic!

keep your vaseline in your purse at all times. Then keep re-applying like lipstick, throughout the day.

One word...Carmex! I swear by this stuff. I use it everyday on my lips and they never get chapped or anything. You should get some. It's cheap. Make sure you don't get any in your mouth because it tastes nasty.
