I think it's actually a gas tax replacement, but it demonstrates liberal idiocy nevertheless. Here all the greenies in Oregon push for higher MPG minimums and to buy hybrid vehicles and all that, but then when they realize that all that is going to result in a decrease in their precious gas tax, they run out and change the tax code to keep the fees the same. Ridiculous!
Hey KooKoo, here's your proof, DOLT!

I don't know about this Tax thing but I will tell you that sometime in the future some one is going to have to pay for this War and how do you think the government will collect. The only reason why this war has gone on this long is because Americans are not paying for it. To the average person who doesn't spend all there time on these chat sites it doesn't even feel like we are at war. What sacrifice has the President told you to do for this country besides wave a flag around. If you think that little tax thing in Oregon was a bad idea, try being the only President in the history of the USA to cut taxes during a time of War. There is method to the madness, the less they pay the less they will care.

they could be able to pull each and every of the street money lower back, reason we received 't be utilising them. or merely enhance our sales tax. Or someway revamp the completed street equipment with new smuck stops and gas stations the position you could take a seat for 4-8 hours to rechargeAnd of route construct new coal flora (because some thing has to furnish all that electrical energy and it would not merely come out of the wall sockets ya understand). yet wait received't all that coal reason extra toxins to furnish that electrical energy? Oh (smack brow, I under no circumstances considered that) of route there would could be protection and nutrition and leisure in any respect those smuck stops. All that money will likely some from Obama's stash. On 2d idea merely stay abode, so that they (liberals) can spoon feed you the records they imagine you pick, the nutrition they imagine you should eat. nicely what nutrition and elements are left that did not rot from having to be on the line so long. Oh and we will larger nutrition expenditures from the upward thrust in refrigeration time. Wait how about a prepare equipment of route you could take horses (authorities approved horses) to %. up your nutrition dropped off one hundred miles away.

Considering the energy situation in this country, and it's addiction to oil, I think this is an excellant idea.
I think a better idea would be to charge an additional tax as a function of energy efficiency (gas mileage) and mileage.
People who drive more should pay more, and people who waste gas by driving a gas guzzler should pay for that privilege.

Yeah, it is ridiculous. I know people who live in rural Oregon who have to drive huge distances to conduct business. If that tax passes, not only will they have to pay huge gas bills but a tax on top of it. Thank God I moved outta Oregon.

It looks to be a bipartisan commission deciding on this. Give proof that this is a liberal idea.
You idiots are so quick to blame liberals. Why don't you also blame speaker Simmons who was involved in nominating the commission. OMG he is a republican, he cannot be blamed. Fools.

Oregon won't even allow you to fill your own gas tank, that's how much of a nanny state they have.
