I have a 2 sets of headphones that came with the wire for the left ear extremely short, and the wire for the right ear extremely long. It's incredibly annoying and uncomfortable... why would anyone do this?

It's so the wires don't get caught if you're doing something. the short one goes in the ear it says it's for, and the long one goes in the other, but it goes around the back of your neck. Some ppl just like it that way.

the right side cord goes behind your neck, and into your right ear, the left goes right into ur left ear, i have them and love them
