i think the way sehwag bats, he has no fear of get out and his shots are full of energy

From the entertainment stand point, people prefer Sehwag because he plays his shots without fear of getting out. Dravid is the complete opposite. He only goes for big shots when the situation demands it. People like watching big shots more than someone who lets a lot of deliveries go to the keeper. So, yes people do like to watch Sehwag more than Dravid.

Sehwag's form depends on "clicking" in a match and depends mostly on the Flat batting tracks ( Note that Sehwag gets out very early if the ball is swinging all over the place ). If he clicks then India makes runs fast.. While Dravid's innings are compact, consistent and gives stability to the Indian Score. And Dravid scores faster too, when required. But, Sehwag gets under pressure if slowed down.
Sehwag plays with Hand/Eye Coordination while Dravid plays with technique.
So.. for Short n Sweet Entertainment - Its Sehwag
for Serious Meaningful batting - Dravid

they are entirely diff kind of players.sehwag is a stroke maker while dravid is a defencive player he works hard to gain each run.
no doubt people like to see sehwag's batting than dravid's boring knocks(sometimes).
but i like dravid's knocks coz they are always worthy.but sehwag blasts for an inning then you have to wait for next exciting knock of his.so the diff lies in consistency.
and Gayel a west indies batsman like sehwag has rightly said that dravid can be like him(play strokes)but he can't be like dravid.

people who don't know the inside out of the game would like sehwag's batting.
ppl who knows all the tricks of the trade about the game would like to watch dravid's innings.

One cannot compare Dravid with any other player... He is stylish, Technically Rock solid and a Complete Batsman
Shehwag is not technically sound as Dravid and he plays his stroks with lots of power thats it... nothing else to describe about him
Dravid is a complete batting Book.... he can play on any pitch against any bowler...
