They're my greatest accomplishment. The fact that I was able to bring them into the world and get them to adulthood without any major mishaps, drug convictions, court appearances or other bad things happening means I did a great job. They are all wonderful people and that's what we need to understand when we have children- they're only children for a short while. You are making a human being and you are responsible for how they see the world. Hopefully people put more thought into that than getting a puppy.

Why would you ask something like that?
Obviously, they mean the world to the parents! They are the ones who try to cheer you up when you're depressed. My little angel is more than I ever dreamed of. He's 5 and I've enjoyed watching him grow up. We are expecting a baby by this winter so he'll be 6yrs old by then... A big brother and he's so excited!
I couldn't go on without my children.

My daughter is the expression of me and my husband joining lives. She truly is the 'two becoming one'. She is a reminder of the wonder I used to have at the world around me when I was a child. She is the first true time I have put someone else's needs before my own. She has helped me understand how much my mother must love me.

My son means the world.. even when he drives me nuts, doesn't listen to me at times, doesn't pick up his toys when asked, leaves his underwear all over the place with his socks.. drives the dogs crazy.. and when swimming, likes to freak me out when he is able to hold his breath so long that many think he is drowning..lol..
So, why does he mean so much? Without all the above, plus the good days of course.. I would be bored!!!

Everything!!! They make everyday worthwhile. I have two handsome lil boys that can melt my heart with the bat of an eyelash. Being their father is the most important thing that I do everyday. You can see, in everything that they do, an overwhelming desire to learn. Teaching them to become kind young men is the most rewarding thing that I do everyday. Watching little seeds of knowledge grow into actions is wonderful!

I believe they are a gift from god, just a loaner, not to keep. So treat them well, and bring them up carefully, and they will reward you with totally unconditional love, for real.
