I would say - YES designed by Yahoo IMBECILES, but planned by the Executives to "lure persons to this SPOT which has no redeeming value" - Yahoo gets some benefit from "being a magnet to draw people here and keep them using this spot over and over, which keeps regular computer 'Dweebs', using their site, who have not much else to do, just inane things such as this. Probably, some other reasons - which Yahoo derives from keeping all these people using and returning to Answers...

I think it is in their Terms of Service agreement that you must have an IQ lower than 60 to participate but occassionally you will see someone with a higher IQ that has declared themselves a rebel and signed up anyway.
