i realize spaceships have oxygen as well as fuel on board. but that still amounts to far less oxygen than on earth. would'nt the fires generally be smaller and burn less long than equivalent ones on earth?

hydrogen and oxygen are kept in tanks that provide them with enough fuel to get out of the atmosphere. no the burning does not harm the ozone layer or contribute to global warming, unless you count the water particles it ehausts as helping to warm the earth.

by the way, it uses up the rest of it's fuel when it gets into orbit and ejects the tank.

Spaceships do not just carry fuel, they carry fuel AND oxygen. They are totally self sufficient and do not combust fuels with the environment of space to any degree at all. Gas bottles can explode. An oxygen tank on Apollo 13 exploded.

The sunlight is mad up of gases, manly hydrogen. with the aid of a procedure called hydrogen fusion, the sunlight is able to make huge quantities of potential. some day the sunlight will run out of potential and burn out yet for now it remains burning. Plus i imagine fireplace dosent favor in simple terms oxygen to burn. see you later as a gas or source of potential is accessible to feed it, fireplace can stay. you would understand this in case you had payed interest in technological expertise classification in extreme college.
