I would have to answer your question with a no. He is rich, and almost all rich guys think that they HAVE to play golf because almost all of the rich guys on earth do it, so he must do so also. He probably thinks, "gee, I'm old, what sport can I play that is popular, GOLF", and most old dudes that want so bad to be seen as an athletic person, either run, bike ride, or play golf. So no, he doesn't like it, but he does it to show a better image of himself.
