Perhaps if you take coffee regulary your body becomes somewhat 'immune' to the caffeine so you are unable to have that extra 'boost'. Try eating fruit-really they do have energy boosters to make you feel awake and engerized. Also if you have some deep studying to do- I highly suggest you take small naps inbetween so you don't become exhausted!

wow that's a tough 1. studying has always made me fall asleep. u can try walking around while studying or reading the matterial out loud. or studying in groups. also I found that studying next to a table keeps me awake 4 longer than sitting on a chair and putting the book on my lap. or you can try to go outside to study - in a park, or a coffee shop.
good luck!!

Try to get more sleep.

If that's not possible. Try an energy drink like Red Bull.

You can drink up to 2 cans a day, no more! And make sure you eat before drinking it. Never drink it on an empty stomach.... I did once and it gave me the shakes until it wore off.

Try to stay focus. Stop thinking about other things. Try to have some fun while you are studying and get some sleep before you start studying.

caffeine will not help.

drink lots and lots of water and take a break to take a brisk walk or exercise.

For some, a brief nap helps but not for all.

Dehydration will make you sleepy and exercise will help with memory.

Sleep is important and if you are tierd you should sleep...it's what the body needs. However, when one goes into study mode we tend to ignore proper eating habits in this state. Eat plenty of veggies, fruits and proteins: they help you think better and keep you alert.

Actually, listening to loud music in head phones works to keep me awake for hours. Or you could try breathing exercises to get more oxygen.
