Exactly - the truth can sometimes hurt. I'd much rather be told the truth about anything and just deal with it if it's something that is an issue. Funny thing is, this issue just happened yesterday. My boyfriend told me that he drove this girl that works with him to pick up her lunch (this girls is a royal s*lut and has actually made it clear to everyone she is a hoar. She's actually said to people... "I don't care if a guy is with someone else, I'll still f*ck him") her boyfriend just broke up with her and didn't have a car so evidentally my bf was nice enough to give her a ride (that was sarcastic). I appreciate that he told me which makes me believe i can totally trust him despite my emotions from it... I did my best to not get upset, but the territorial thing came out. But, we worked it all within no time at all. Just told him how I felt and he did the same and it was over.

Here's the deal, now listen close.. It's not that they really want a man that wont lie... its that they want a man that doesnt have to lie because they dont do anything worth liying about. The kinda guy that feels and says what they want them to.....

I am a woman - married a lot of years. I do not WANT to know if my husband screwed around on me. Why know? It doesn't do any good to know. I know women who go out of their way to sneak and invade privacy. That is wrong. I am so against that. No, I don't want a liar. But you know the saying "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all?" I believe it. Just keep your mouth shut. If you did something and you feel guilty about it, write it off as a "learning experience" -- or your life will be miserable.

what they mean is that they want you to not lie and for the truth to also be pleasing to their ears

there is a time for lying, here are some examples:

Her: "do these pants make me look fat"
You: "NO"

Her: "do you look at other women?"
You: "NO"

Her: "was your last girlfriend better than me in bed?"
You: "No, you are the best i've ever had"

The times to be honest are with your feelings, with relationship status, with your thoughts and what you want out of life.

Even though the truth hurts, she will still respect you and care about you more because you were honest. Just besauce she is mad at the truth, she will get over it soon enough.

because no one knows what they want. which is why women also say they want a nice guy, but always end up dating jerks. we do the same thing, we always say we want a good woman, but we end up going after the psychos.

Women stop maturing at some point. They want one thing and then another. Like fools we give it to them. They are spoiled.
