LB Hunter Hillenmeyer got one, but i feel that Briggs should get one. He, in my opinion, is more deserving.

I think he is deserving but I think his agent is really pushing his luck on this contract. Briggs agent wants Lance to get a contract that is equal to or higher than Brian Urlacher and I do not think Briggs deserves that much Urlacher has been a pro bowler like six times now and defensive player of the year. Briggs is good but not as good as Urlacher. Unfortunately Lance may go the same way Roosevelt Colvin and Warrick Holdman did in the past. Well at least Colvin has a couple Super Bowls rings now in New England.

he probably deserves one, BUT the Bears have never done that with as young a player as Briggs, if he would keep his mouth shut, when it came time for an extension he would have a better chance to get more money, but bucking the Bears front office is a kiss of death

i do think he should get a extention. but i dont think he or jones should be holding out right now. well there not holding out, but you know what i mean. they are both great players, and they should do what they said they were going to. i do think they both deserve one though. especially briggs, one of the most underated LBs in the nfl.
