your first answer is incorrect, nero is a burning program...there is a place within the program where you can burn a data cd/dvd...under that setting, you can burn anything that you want to a cd/dvd. nero is a great program to use if you want to make archives of programs or whatever you have on your computer.

Nero will burn just about anything. Click some buttons and experiment - you'll find the right setting eventually...

you can burn the file. Whereas you need real player to read the information on said cd.... HOWEVER, if you actualy buy real player, it does have a feature to burn the real player format to an audiocd, then you can rip that audio cd to whatever format you might need... hope this works for you
