If your worried about the downloads then download 'Zone Alarm' and it will let you know if there is a virus in the program. and stop it from coming into your computer. Its free. Also it will warn you if someone is trying to come into your computer or hack it. Great big red padlock comes up on monitor. The program runs a scan everyday and checks for virus that may have somehow sneaked into your computer.

no matter what you should always scan for viruses and adware before opening any downloaded file. even images can contain hidden code.
