Try the the 'Ship Inn' On the south side of the river, immediately next to Wandsworth bridge. It is a traditional pub, with a cosmopolitan clientele. Good atmosphere.

Also, a pub called the 'Alma', also at Wandsworth. Thursday night is usually the best in London.

Good hunting.

The West End of London is the best place for clubs and there are some nice pubs there too.

Italians in London are well known to be English-proof. They are considered as anglo-phobic. So watch it... go only to Italian restaurants (tehy speak italian) and if you know some english dont test it on Londoners... you will be massacred..
