clobert and stewart mock republicans and democrats, maybe not quite equally, but with the exec and legislative branches dominated by
r's, they are dominant in most ways, they deserve to also be dominant in coverage of their hypocrisy and stupidity, but if you watch regularly, they are both (stewart/colbert) equally willing to make painfully true observations (and jokes) about d's as well.
they are not kind to kerry, hillary, and several other leading d's and gave wm jefferson a well-deserved flogging. colbert and stewart are more "fair and balanced" than any "real" media outlet, who are all hopelessly politicized, one way or the other

I'm as grown up as it gets, I love & respect Jon Stewart.
Have you ever watched his show? He doesn't make up
anything & shows real clips.
He has shown bush 2 yrs ago & today speaking on the same
subject - that is very disturbing, when you hear bush say
"I never said that" & there he is, right on the split screen,
saying, exactly what he's denying.

I accept the fact that alot of people can't handle the truth, so
they prefer not to watch it.
I watch Fox - it's good know the enemy.

I think you meant that Jon Stewart doesnt tell real facts?

I think most people understand when he is using facts (because he shows the video etc...) and when he is using irony/satire/ exhaggerations.

I think it's probably because people are so into being entertained. It seems like entertainment is the main thing, and so those that work their opinions into entertainment get a lot of attention.

Intelligent humor is often overlooked.

A lot of people take me seriously when I'm joking too. Maybe it's the fact I physically appear serious.....

Because in many cases it's the only "news" they get. They watch that and Stephen Colbert and feel that they're informed.

I don't know. It seems they use him as a real news source.

I think he is funny, but that is it.
