I live here and I tell u it is fabulous call and make resevation though cause they book up fast.You may want to eat at the Pirate House its famous for being the most haunted place in Savannah and the Pink Lady is great too... Have fun in Savannah

Yes. be prepared to wait in line, a long, long time as it is summer and high tourist season. If you are going I say be there at 10 am, you might not have to wait three hours that way. They didn't take reservations, but might now since it is so popular. There is a website with info.
The food is ok, but I'm biased as I've grown up in the south and I'm used to my family's more healthy cooking, shall we say. There is a lot of grease and butter, but you know that if you watch the show. Everyone I know that's been loves the place, but it is not for vegetarians as even vegitables are cooked with meat stock. You can order off a menu ( I had crab cakes, my sister the ckn pot pie) or select the buffet (which many people like).
It is worth a stop, you will always wonder if you don't.

Hilton Head Island is pretty close to Savannah...You can check out the food at Asian Fusion. Personally I love the food there.

Yeah its fair. Its buffett and southern cooking. It was good and all just kinda hohum. We waited about an hour to get in. I was not overly impressed.

yes...its great it's not really for the weight conscious though she uses alot of butter and everything is delicious but rather fattening.
