I do like a guy who has a sense of style, but when people say that belt has to match the shoes, I just think that you should wear whatever fits you the best and you feel comfortable in. One of my girlfriends once told me that a girls purse has to match her belt? What?! Those are just stupid rules, don't follow them! But don't mix too much. Take a look at a fashion magazine and you'll never see something like that. Wear whatever you want! That's a detail I never notice. And besides I'd rather date a guy who stands out from the rest of the crowd :)

No they don't have to be the same color, especially if you are wearing white shoes! Black belts can be worn with darker colored shoes and brown belts with medium tone colored shoes. Wear tan belts with light colored shoes. There are exceptions to every rule but for example if you are wearing orange converse you would not want to wear a black belt, then you have a halloween theme going on. Try brown with that since they both have red hues. I do understand you are not tucking your shirt so you don't have to stick to a hard and fast rule, just be sure you're not too far off the path in case you decide to tuck the shirt or raise it up for any reason.

If you don't tuck in your shirt, then it's really no big deal if you wear a belt at all. However, if you're interested in attracting women, bear in mind that some of them are going to think that you're a slob if you don't tuck your shirt in, and yes, they WILL notice if your belt color doesn't match your shoes, so it's a good idea to put a little thought into what you're wearing if you're going someplace to meet women.

Bravo, you're wearing a belt! I hope that you aren't one of the guys with three-fourths of your underwear showing above your pants...
The thing is, if you bend over or sit, people might see it and think you are color blind or something... But seriously, someday when you are required to tuck in your shirt, you would want to look your best and have your shoes and belt coordinated with the rest of your outfit. No, it shouldn't be all that important, but in a professional world, presenting your best image is. Be thankful that it's all you have to worry about, unlike we women.

Just because it looks put together. I wouldn't say they HAVE to match any more, just as women do not match their shoes to their bags any more. Just make sure they're close to the same color and the same level of dressy or casual and you should be fine.

If it doesn't show, don't think anyone cares. Basically, for women, though, the idea is if it all matches,it's more slimming
