OK. NB. I'm not asking because of a lack of opinion, but rather to hear yours. What is the literal parallel that "he's" making?

The author is suggesting that you have the powers to make the proper choices to live your life and that society/government is hiding things from you that you need to know about but that society/government is working against you to have more control over you, so therefore, you need not become complacent and stand up for what you believe in for the good of the people. You need to use your mind before they get that too. THINK! it's not illegal yet.

The matrix was qualitatively about the Artificial Intelligence revolution. The A.I. possibly quantified the revolution by making a World where humans could live in in their minds. This world was quantified in the Super A.I. Humans were connected to the A.I. as computers were connected to the Internet, through Jacks. The humans were in reality in a coma. The writer of the Matrix is suggesting that we are in the Super A.I. We are jacked in a world that we can live in in our minds.

The quantity of the world is the quality of the world. Our minds are dreaming the world as we sense it. Possibly like a amazing mirror, we quantify the reflections as we sense them. Of the Form that Plato speaks of, It is opressive that however dominant we may be, it would only be a Form that we sense. Recent scientific discoveries have also been enrolling modern thinking into Form High.

The Matrix quite possibly is a true A.I. revolution. (A.I. having been around since the time of Aristotle and all).

It's a computer created dream world. It's the world pulled over our eyes to stop us from seeing the truth. I often wonder if it's all that different to what we're going through. I know we're not in a Matrix but what we are in seems no different.
