I think that is because it is no longer ours and ours alone. That and now it is open to scrutiny. Personally I like that scrutiny, it offers me an objective perspective on what I was thinking. It also can influence the way others think as they will take it away from you and either make it their own or discard it as bunk (which is still an influence)

I think so yes, as much as i disagree with Nietzche on a great many things, theres somthing so human about knowing something that someone else does not, we feel a need to hold it over there heads, but once they no, it seems less facinating.

he is sort of right look at it this way, we have an insatiable appetite for all things, pleasure, knowledge, food, possesions. Once we attain a set pinnacle we feel less complete then when we knew less. Our appetite will always be present. Also socretes said that the wisest man realizes that he knows nothing. So those who feel they have become the knowledgable and communicate it to the point where they feel they are absolete they are simply dillusional and ignorant to the grander scheme of things.

That would be the best advise in respect to mad philosopher..may be not so mad? Problem with that , we cannot hold it for long , otherwise we will join Nietzsche in his madness...
and we do not know any other way, but speak it out...but there is other way....That one needs to be deeply understood, before applied.
