I believe at this moment in history, North Korea is the greatest threat, to the security of the United States. Kim Jong IL seems to be a mad man, in every sense of the word. If he has the chance, to have his finger on the button, on a nuclear device, everyone in the free world, has much to fear.

According to the evening standard last night america consider the big three threats to their great nation: North Korea, Iraq, Iran and since Iran has no nuclear ability yet and North korea is launching weapons i would have to say North Korea

They are both equally threatening to the U.S. in my opinion. I don't know what we're going to do but something has to happen. Unfortunately I think it might turn into another war. I thought the war in Iraq was World War III but it looks like that was only the beginning. North Korea definitely has them and Iran has the capability and resources to make them...it's a no win situation for all involved.

China is the only country that the US truly is worried about. Everyone else is small potato's

China has a billion people in their country and nukes that can reach our land. Why would we worry about a small Island that we could take out with one strike. The same goes for Iran they cant win in war nuke or non nuke war. They will loose. I am not for war but I know that you don't commit suicide by attaching the USA unless you have the means to win, and only China can truly give us a run for the money.

I agree with Kasha and Debbie _Lou : George W. Bush is the main threat to whatever peace there is in the world as it is. George W. Bush and his cohorts. Better send our boys back home from Iraq and Afghanistan, leave those countries be propping up the economy through war is not the way to bring America back to it's old glory.

China. But than again, they may hook up with Iran and/or Korea. There will be so many cars in China in a couple of years that Iran - to sell its oil - will not American market anymore.

The greatest threat to the US comes from within: George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld.
