In Colorado Springs and met retired NY Jets QB Joe Namath. Near Madison WC I met and received an autograph from Bart Starr - former coach and QB of Green Bay packers. I've met Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon, and Patti Smith when she was with the Band Blue Oyster Cult. Everyone in IC has met Professor Van Allen (Van Allen Radiation Belt), and in IC I met Howard Cosell when I was about 3. I also met Gene Keady there at Taco Bell. After a concert I met Guns 'n' Roses (and met them, and met them...). But I've never got to meet a President or shake his hand. That's what I would cherish most.

Musicians...We fixed Jimmie Vaughan's cars at our body shop. The band we played with opened for him, and Magic Slim and the Teardrops, Junior Wells once bought a guitar from us (even though he was a harp player). Bobby Bland (met him a few times when opening for his shows), ummmmm...let's see, who have I neglected to name-drop..?......oh, Gatemouth Brown was our friend. And we played for Bill Gates at a party once, and they didn't even give us free BBQ, and of course our very own Blues Boy Hubbard. Clifford Antone hardly counts, everyone knew him. Scary, the amount of deceased people there are on my list.
