i don't agree with the revolution... yet. but yes America is turning into the world portrayed in marvel comics 2099 series. controlled by the corporations, and ruling with lies and malice.

I don't know about a second revolution, but we need to go back to granting people their original rights. The problem is, people went nuts because after 9/11, nobody felt safe anymore, so we let the politicians limit actions to control the terrorists. Now, unfortunately, we have found out that those laws limit our actions, too.

No we do not choose armed police, they take to lengthy to reply and there have been circumstances in the Appeals courts that state that the police don not have a duty to guard you. That being the case then the in ordinary words legal responsibility to guard you is that you may guard your self. the answer isn't to teach the rustic right into a Police State, the answer is to arm anybody that needs to be armed. those that do not opt to be armed then opt for to be victims. i'd choose that the instructors be allowed to carry guns in the journey that they opt for to finish that. because the shooter may do not comprehend what number or who had the guns he does not comprehend who to knock off first. A cop will be in uniform and may to boot have an illustration above his head that announces "Shoot me first"

Yes we are turning into a police state. I wouldn't be surprised if we have another major terrorist attack right before bush is out of office so he can declare marshall law and stay in power

And that's the truth. It's a good time to get a job as a 9-11 rent-a-cop.

While I don't believe that we have reached a "police state" mentality as of yet; we do seem to be heading in that direction.
