I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!ITS UGLY!I REMEMEBER THIS GIRL THAT DID THAT AND LIKE ONCE WE WERE OUTSIDE AND IT STARTED TO RAIN AND SHE WAS LIKE AAWW MY EYEBROWS ARE GONNA WIPE OFF AND THEN SURE ENOUGH THEY STARTED RUNNING DOWN HER FACE,IT WAS SO FUNNY AND GROSS.

/ Its a mystery why some women do that Some times they draw them in so high with an exaggerated arch that they look surprised all the time or draw them in a half circle that makes them just look silly and /or sad. I do know that in some cultures its very common ,thus it must be considered beauty by their standards. And then again some girls just follow what they see other girls doing. I sorta like the little shaved imprints/cuts on some guys eyebrows . It can look good/hot on some . hey and I'm old ,so I'm not condemning younger people.I see a lot of older ladies that are "eyebrow challenged " too .: )

Depending on which part of the city you're in, shaved eyebrows drawn over with a pencil are "gang chic." Obviously, most women, it's a mishap gone really bad, but here in L.A., it's more likely a mark of gang affiliation.

I know what you mean, I can't stand it. I had a friend whom when I met her did something like this to her eye brows. Instead of shaving them completely off, she left a sliver of a line that look like it was drawn on. I don't mean to sound cocky but I saved her. I told her (very nicely of course, because she was a dear friend of mine) how to do her eyebrows properly. She was very thankful. This is the answer people...saved your loved ones from making this mistake!!!

oh man, once i trimmed my eyebrows so the hairs were shorter and i looked awful.
Don't mess with mother nature, getting them tweezed a little bit at the spa is ok but shaving them completly is gross.

I've wondered this for years,too. My ex mother-in-law has always done this. She said it began because her hair was so light you couldn't see it,so,she shaved it to make it grow in darker,and that didn't work,lol,so,she shaved it,period,lol. But I know dark haired girls that have done it,always looks bizarre.

They're not shaving, honey. They've just had horrible mishaps trying to get poptarts out of the toaster.

Because they think it looks beautiful, but I can't figure out why. It is also a cultural thing in some groups of people.
Some old ladies do it too.

I don't know but its really ugly I think natural eyebrows who is fixed is the cutest

That is a very good question!! I guess they think it's sexy!! But I don't!! Maybe they are too chicken to have them waxed or tweezed!! Or just too *******lazy!! It is nasty looking!! All that stubble growing back!!Gees!!

I really don't know! It looks so awful. It used to just be old ladies that did this.
