There are different kinds.
Like civil engineering, they learn to build roads & bridges and drainage systems
Or electrical engineering they learn to design circuits and computers and stuff
Or mechanical engineering they learn to make machines and things
Or Chemical engineering they design chemical processes.

Of course i'm being very general.
You will always need math like calculus and stuff. You will need to use lots of math to calculate stuff in all your classes.

It varies once you specialize into your particular field of engineering, but all engineering courses will require advanced calculus courses and lots and lots of physics.
