The worst part about yahoo questions is almost no one can give us enough details.
It can be as minor as the food you ate or how , how fast , or it can be more serious problem like a stomach ulcer.
Your weight , any past problems type of foods that hurt more. How long this has been happening all of these are just a few things that will help you.
But you can aways go to a doctor but even doctors sometimes can't help you. But doctors can rule out some deadly or serious problems.

I had the same problem last year and i ended up in the hospital for it. It's either a. a G.I (gastural intestine) problem, b. an ulcer, or C. you eat too fast and you have to let the food digest for a while. It's best to see a g.i doctor because they know the most about these sort of things. Try not to be so active during the day and eat healthy foods. It's also best to have meals that are spread out during the day. Eat smaller portions of food but more often than three times a day. Try to keep your diet in one area so that you stomach can adjust to any changes. For instance don't:
have a hot dog in the morning, eat eggs and pasta for lunch, and have broccoli and steak for dinner. Have about 5 to 6 to 7 smaller portions throughout the day. This method is also a great way to lose weight!

It could be a number of things. If you ate too fast, you could have swallowed air and have gas pain. If you ate foods that are too spicy, it could have upset your stomach.
Your best bet is to lay off anything rich or heavy and opt for lighter fare until your stomach eases up.
If you have pain for longer than 5 days, make an appointment with your doctor, as it could be a stomach virus or another ailment.
Keep in mind stress can also upset one's tummy...So consider walking after eating or finding another way to alleviate your stress.
Feel better soon!

You could have an ulcer. It could also be either too much stomach acid or not enough. Take a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. If it relieves the pain you have not enough stomach acid. If it makes it worse you have too much. Natural supplement for not enough: Betain HCL. For too much, look for an acid neutralizer. Either supplement can be purchased at your local health food store for cheap. Talk to the consultants there. They are very knowlegable and it is cheaper than prescription med.

It could be a number of things. If it's gone on for a while, you'll need to get some tests done I'm sure for them to tell you. Acid reflux usually goes up your esophagus - BAD heartburn. You could have an ulcer even.

Your a bad cook.
hehe..sorry, could'nt resist.
If it's a constant problem regardless of what you eat, see a doctor. Seems like a pretty common sense thing to do.

It could be a host of things from something as simple as overeating to a list of medical things it could be...your best bet is to go to the doc's and talk to him about it....and if they think its something that needs more specific treatment they will send you to a gastroenterologist....
