We checked in Home Depot without luck. This is an old Ikea bed. I am not able to locate this bed on their website either. Any/all ideas are welcome.

if you can't locate any bolts which fit, you could DIY by getting some other long bolts ("coach bolts?") and drilling new holes in the wood. Depending on the design of the frame it may be a good idea to use L-shaped brackets screwed on. If you use screws, pick big ones because Ikea's wood is mostly quite soft.

If the bed has some fixed bolts sticking out of it, you can buy a tool called a "thread gauge" which will tell you what size they are, so you can order new nuts.

It seems a pity to throw the bed away when it can be fixed.

The bolts may be metric. Smaller stores like Ace usually have a better metric bolt selection than the "big boxes". You may end up having to either bolt all the way through the frame with a slightly smaller bolt, or get a set of taps and re-thread the holes. An Ace or True Value would probably have a tap set in their rental section. Good Luck!

We did the same thing last year, though it wasn't an Ikea bed. We actually ended up having to buy a new frame! I wish you luck.

Just go to a True Value Hardware store, Ace Hardware, or a Stambaugh store and they should have a bunch of nuts and bolts to fit your bed...

I wish you well..
