I would like to know the name of a song, and the artist. The first encounter was on an advertisement a few years ago (not more than 5) for the annual BBC coverage of the Glastonbury Festival. The advert showed a long shot of a stage at the festival, with a tree in the foreground. Information for the coverage was displayed over the top with the song paying in the background.

The second time I encountered this was either on BBC 1 or 2 - cannot remember which one exactly, but the program was 'The Flying Gardener' and was broadcast on February 26th 2006. At the start the helicopter was taking off and for a brief period the song was played. I asked around on the BBC forum for a while but didn't get many results, here are my findings: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbgardening/f27...

The song is an instrumental techno-style song, in the style of Daft Punk (but it isn't them). That is all the information I have, as I do not know the composer, artist or song title. Thanks.

Perhaps it was a hit that year and featured in Glastonbury if they used it in the ad. I think it could have been Layo & Bushwacka in 2002. Their video clip and other Glasto years are here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/glastonbury2002/video.shtml

I found this on the 'Flying Gardener' site at the BBC......

What is the theme music of the programme?
The theme music is Angel by St Etienne.

I've pasted the link.... Any help?

If this isn't what you are looking for this site may be a good place to re-ask your question.

I'll be watching to see how you get on.
Good luck.
