Soul and body
The human body is a complex pattern of physical energies. Atomic particles build together to form the organic structures and inorganic minerals, which perform the body's chemical interactions, thus forming the basis of the hormonal and nervous control of the body. What we see as the old or young, ugly or beautiful, male or female, are also the differing levels of physical energies. However marvelous a machine the body may be, it is the presence of the non-physical conscious energy, the soul, which makes it function.

Nature of Soul
A soul is a tiny, metaphysical, conscient point of spiritual light. There are a finite number of souls. Each soul is eternal. They were never created, and will never be destroyed. Each soul is unique. We are all souls, unique and different and remain so eternally. As such, souls are invisible to the naked eyes, but one can experience it's presence. A soul has no gender.

If you take a step back and look at all religions for the most part it is to get to the soul. Whether it leads to god or not there is no doubt that almost every human being feels to some extent a soul.

Remember soul is completely different than mind or body. It has no shape. Soul has nothing to do with emotions. For emotion are completely related to our mind. Soul, Mind and Body are completely different from each others.
Soul is a pure unaffected part of energy of this universe. If we do right or wrong that is not related to soul but the mind.
Mind is the greatest gift given to us by this universe. We can cultivate mind according to our will like we develop our muscle in gym. MIND IS THE GOOD SERVANT and WORST MASTER. So if one cultivate mind with good thoughts then it will give one good results otherwise it will take the person anywhere where one don't wish for.
So don't confuse SOUL with MIND. Soul never does anything wrong and have no relation with emotions.

I don't have to believe in it because it is a reality. I cannot prove it because it is invisible. The purpose of life itself is the purification of the soul. Within us there is much more work than that is in the whole world.

well all living things have souls, including both vegitables and animals, along with humans and angels.

The human soul however is part animal part divine. It stays this way until we die. The animal half then becomes usless and "Dies" while our divine part assends into heaven. This is the way of things

yes...i do believe in soul....but i dont agree that its part of god in every person...otherwise how do explain evil and suffering of people by fellow human beings. i think that a soul is something thats part of everybody...but it has to be developed and cultivated by kindness, compassion and empaty. not everyone has a soul.

Everything living on this planet has a "force" within itself.
From the tiny ant to the human being, we all have some
kind of life force within ourselves. It's how we use it that
is important.

Or it's merely the collective consciousness of every living being on the planet. Or it's nothing; that's my guess. Nihilism rules!
