Close, but no cigar. What we believe is that everyone should have equal access to the opportunities that will allow everyone to be as rich as Bill Gates. What you do with those opportunities is up to you.

Wrong...liberals don't always think about money. They're main concern, at least the ones like myself, is that every one has the opportunity to live a good life, have a roof over their heads and can afford health care, college, the basics in life. I don't think everyone should be rich like Bill Gates. No one needs that much money...that man has more money than some countries do.

I don't think so. I think they believe it is in everyone's best interest to support those who are poor. I have to agree with that principle. What I can not agree with is the way they plan to fund their programs, nor do I agree with the basis of their agenda.
I feel the best way to help the poor is through job training and forcing them off of welfare...give a man a fish he eats for a day, teach them to fish they will never starve. Funding can be done through savings in the current welfare system by and by streamlining current bureaucracies. (once again forced through the passing of the flat tax).
Facts would show that until drug addiction and despaire are eliminated, all of the help they get is just going to go to waste anyway, however.

Liberalism is an ideology, philosophy, and political tradition that holds liberty as the primary political value.[1] Broadly speaking, liberalism seeks a society characterized by freedom of thought for individuals, limitations on power, especially of government and religion, the rule of law, the free exchange of ideas, a market economy that supports relatively free private enterprise, and a transparent system of government in which the rights of minorities are guaranteed. In modern society, liberals favour a liberal democracy with open and fair elections, where all citizens have equal rights by law and an equal opportunity to succeed[2]. Liberalism rejected many foundational assumptions which dominated most earlier theories of government, such as the Divine Right of Kings, hereditary status, and established religion. Fundamental human rights that all liberals support include the right to life, liberty, and property. In many countries, "modern" liberalism differs from classical liberalism by asserting that government provision of some minimal level of material well-being takes priority over freedom from taxation. Liberalism has its roots in the Western Enlightenment, but the term now encompasses a diversity of political thought, with adherents spanning a large part of the political spectrum, from left to right. In the context of economics, the term "liberalism" refers to economic liberalism, which is associated with the political ideology of liberalism itself.

Liberals think that they have the only answer to all the problems and that any other answer is the wrong one. Just look at the social welfare program. Destroy all the familys and remove all rewferances to religion.
TAKE ALL THE GUNS AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE.
They only want total control of the leves of everyone

Typical Neanderthal CON question. Tell me son, did you graduate the 10th grade? Do you think that Colmes and Hannity is News, or do you realize that it is a talk show?
I think you are an uneducated POS. Why not enroll in your local CC and take a course in government or sociology. You might learn something.
