When you get points what do you use them for.

Right now I'm at level 4 (over 2500 points) which means I can answer questions on here all day if I want and won't be cut off for the day. Click on "My Q&A" above right. There will be a link there that says something to the effect of more information. It will tell you all the levels and what happens.

You can't redeem them for anything. The points just increases what level you are at. Certain perks are associated with certain levels. Most people get addicted in the beginning trying to advance to the next level.

When you get to level 5, 6, and 7 you have an unlimited amount of questions and answers.

I just get a kick out of fooling around on yahoo answers and just try to get to the next level.
Points are for nothing and thats it.

You earn points by participating which gets you higher levels and more rewards/benefits.
