Michelins are great tires. I got 62,000 mi out of a set on a Dodge Dakota. They weren't XGTs though. Usually, the softer rubber compounds wear out faster. This is true if the tires are 'speed' rated. If there is an H a V or a Z before the R, that means it's speed rated.
