Think of it this way, using Immanuel Kant's ideas regarding reality... Each one of us has an experience of reality. This experience is phenomenal. it IS reality, but it is not all of reality. Think of being in a room that is dark. You turn on a flashlight. You can see part of the room. If you move and look at another part of the room, the original part you were looking at is black. All of the black in the room is the Noumenal world. This is reality as it actually exists. We can never know it all... It is impossible to see it all at once.

Now, we ALL have our own Phenomenal experiences, and we can even share them,, but in the end we mistake this phenomenal knowledge for the noumenal world. We forget that our flashlight only sees part of the room.

I've included some links below that might be helpful.

Because, of all the answers that are given, man experiences great joy in knowing HIS answer was chosen above all others as the 'correct' one. This boosts ego and self-confidence... though, whether it's merited remains to be seen.

Because there is more often than not more than one answer to each question. Many of which are not standard answers and are merely a form of opinion. Just like this really!

We're simply not created to know everything, otherwise we couldn't bear to live with it. I mean, has anyone read Borges' (the South-American writer) short stories? I think he described this matter so vividly and powerfully.

Because the answers here are not anything mindblowing, they are just other people's opinions on some strangers problems/questions. However, I do get what you are saying.
