Makeup?!?!?!?

Question

I'm 12 years old and I wear makeup occationally. Should I be wearing it? If so what colors would go with my tan but a little pale skin and blue/gray eyes??? Help me please!

Go for nuetral colors like tan and light brown. So if you make a mistake it's not that noticable

im 13 and this is what i use when i were make-up

i recommend using dream matte mousse, its a great foundation that will hide the redness and acne, but be careful not to use to much, a little goes a long way. this comes in about every shade, so u can get one that will blend perfectly with ur skin tone. [u can get this at target, longs drugs, ride-aid...]

for eyes i reccomed a pink-ish purple eyeshadow, it will compliment both ur tan skin and the blue in your eyes. i advise that u dont use a liquid based eyeshadow, because the summer heat will make it run, just like an eye liner or non waterproof mascara.

if ur eyes are smaller i recommend getting an eyelash curler, it is an easy way to make ur eyes 'pop'.

dont colour ur lips a light pink gloss it will make u look fake and sickly. use just a clear gloss, it will make lips shiny. [lip smakers are cheap and they work just as well as the desiner stuff]

if ur face gets oily during the day i would get LOREAL true match powder, its great to get rid of shine. [plus if ur some of ur foundation came off this will cover redness and acne]

though for everyday use just gloss, mascara and concealer, ur dont want to go overboard... trust me

Yes you can wear makeup. I'm nine and I wear it everyday! Of coarse you don't need make-up to make you pretty because you glow on your own. But for your makeup here is advice:Ruby red lips look great when paired with shimmery eye-shadow! Or emphasize your eyes and keep your lips a shiny pale pink. For everyday,choose soft colors like sky blue,pale pink,or mint green. For fashion avoid citrus-y colors. Blacks and whites are great for a stunning effect-highlight with touches of pink!

I know a lot of people have been saying this, but you look gorgeous by just being yourself. At school you should use lip gloss. But is you go to a party try a nude blush with a brownish eye shadow that really lines your eyes. I made a huge mistake by wearing a lot of makeup at your age, I was wrong. Please don't make that mistake. My skin is so ungly now.

If you feel that you need the makeup then you should wear it. but dont wear much. a little bit of light bronzer all over your face is good and simple and doesn't look too old. try a gold or light brown eyeshadow with black mascara to make your eyes pop.

My honest opinion: your to young to ware make-up you have natural beautifull skin at that age, why hide it. Wait it you a little older like 16 or so.
But if you insist try only: lip gloss with a little color(pinks)
& for the eyes Browns Light shades/ Pink.

sure makeup is fun too wear once in a while, but dont overdo it! just make yourself natural by wearing pale gloss and a bit of blush or shimmer. you dont need mascara or eyeliner yet but thats the fun part of being a girl experiment w. makeup!

ur so young u don't need makeup to make u look beautiful... make up is for older girls that have insecurities (like me). if u want then a touch of make-up doesn't do ant harm.. just slap on a bit of lip gloss in a natural colour ... thats all you need
