I am not opposed to paying for expensive clothes, however not all of Abercrombie's clothes are very good quality. Some are, and some (esp T-shirts) are made of very crappy fabric. You just have to look at each item on its own, although I agree the service is excellent!

I have never purchased clothing from there, but it's hard to believe, especially since A&F, Gap, Express, Limited clothing is all made in the same warehouses and shops that K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Target, and cheaper department stores clothing is made in. In fact, many of the clothes made for Wal-Mart, and those other stores, have the same, if not better quality than A&F. We conducted many quality assurance tests to determine that; dye tests, stitching tests, durability during wear and wash, abrasion, drape tests, etc. I have had the worst luck with American Eagle clothing, their clothes are some of the most poorly made, primarily due to the stitching and the quality of fabric. Hope this gives you something to think about.

right this is what's up. while i became in center college/extreme college, I paid wayyyyyy 2 lots money for American Eagle and Abercrombie & Fitch outfits. Now that i'm older, i understand the way genuinely insane that's. the cloth and each little thing else are inferior. the clothing do not delay. And their undemanding designs are incredibly lots T-shirts and sweatshirts that say "AE VOLLEYBALL team" or "A&F LACROSSE" and s****. Why am I going to pay $40 to sell for a corporation whose high quality is completed s***. don't get me incorrect, in case you come across an occasional merchandise from AE or A&F that's a good deal and additionally you go with, then cool. yet learn from me, I spent RIDICULOUS quantities of funds at those shops while i became youthful to be "cool" and their cloth isn't well worth something. Their outfits do not even delay as properly because of the fact the shirts i've got offered at Wal-Mart (no shaggy dog tale) even nonetheless they are approximately 4-5x as lots. this is ridiculous. i individually think of the above suggested manufacturers thrive off of center college childrens who're enthusiastic approximately being cool. To childrens that age, who haven't any information of funds or working for it, they'll beg mama and daddy to thrill PLEASE purchase them a $50 sweatshirt that's probable greater affordably made than the $10 stuff at Walmart, or who will communicate their mom and father into identifying to purchase them "photograph tees" that say like "ABERCROMBIE & FITCH soccer" for like $40 greenbacks. this is the main ridiculous factor ever. The worst section is, the little spoiled wealthy childrens who get all that stuff think of they are cool, yet they have lots to learn. there is a lot greater to style that photograph t's and ripped denims, kiddos.

I think that their prices are too high. For a shirt you can easily spend between $30 and up. For what? The name. Because A&F is stiched on the label. People can't even see that. Now, don't get me wrong, I have favorite labels and whatnot but I also feel this way about the labels I wear. My clothes don't have to scream where I bought them from, but I think A&F have some pretty basic things that are over priced.

I think you are paying for the name when you buy A & F. That's not to say that they don't have nice clothes (if that's what you're into) or whatever but, most of that $H!T is WAAAAAAAAAAY over priced.

yes their service is good, and the clothes are cute..but lemme tell you their quality is not amazing. aber is also not the best brand or the priciest...for real designer mens pants you can pay thousands of dollars.

I don't think their fabrics hold up. Their shirts are not sewn well either. Once you was them they are mishapen and don't fold neatly. The seams are skewed.
You're alone on this one.
