I know why my sister is afraid of clowns and she is 16. When we were little girls we watched the movie It with that scary clown that eats little kids, and after that she has hated a clown every since.

Because of the movie IT! I liked clowns until I saw that movie. If you haven't seen it then watch it and you will understand how people would be afraid of clowns.

I personaly hate clowns! I had a clown lamp in my room when i was 2 and i through it out the window. at night it was my night light and they stared at me!
