I think they're left over from the 4th. Anyway, in the last few days, he's fired seven of the almost into my house. OK, they didn't quite make it across the road because of the trajectory he used, but there's no doubt he's trying to scare me. The potential is there and I usually leave the windows open, so there's potential carnage if he hits the cotton curtains. He's a fat weird looking guy with a kooky father and oh yeah, there's a bit of bad history and I don't like either of his next door neighbours. They're an evil trio. I reckon they have basements where they make their own fireworks. Isn't that illegal? Anyway, if he continues to fire those fireworks it will scare my cats and they'll run away. So I was wondering is it OK if I break into his basement and destroy all his fireworks? I think that's fair, don't you?

All the people who have answered don't realize you're talking about North Korea. That's sad.

The UN called an emergency meeting to address this.

He is just looking for attention because everyone is busy with his neighbors and he feels ignored.

His rockets were made at a cheap fire works stand and he is just using them to intimidate you. None of them work as well as he thinks or wants you to believe.

Breaking into his basement would be wrong and would only make your neighbors who were friends look at you badly.

This is what you should do:

Park a fleet of your cars and your friends cars around your house. Let the fat guy with the fireworks know that if he fires rockets anywhere near your cars that you will consider it an aggressive act against you and you will drop a laser guided cherry bomb in his box of fireworks in his basement. Make sure that your whole neighborhood knows what you are doing so that you are acting in self defense and not just forcing your opinion.

PS. Close the windows before Bill Clinton climbs in to play with the lady of the house.

holy cow!! dont break into his basement pal! You are right ,making fireworks privately without licensing in safety from the local fire dept IS illegal, its a federal law in most countries anyway.never go on a one on one battle with severely dysfunctionally constituted social pea brain delinquents!...............lemme catch my breath.
your first best bet is to talk to this person face to face, just ask him what his problem is,try to recruit the support of yr other fellow neighbours who will co operate in yr rendezvous, then go in a pack of a small group for a face to face confrontation and ask him to stop all this ...else you will call the local police/911.
it this does not go into his thick cerebrum, then do what is the next best thing: CALL THE POLICE OR 911 !!

That's hard. If you want police to check his house out, I think they will need a warrant. lol Breaking in someone's house is not a very good idea too even if your motive is to destroy this "alleged' fireworks, you are risking yourself with charges of burglary and/or trespassing!!!

But then again, the girl below me.... read down....
Could be right! LOL

Nope. Call the cops. If you go in there, YOU'LL be in the wrong and pay for it. Make sure HE is the one in the wrong. Video tape him shooting off the rockets. Don't let him see you. Have the tape as evidence for the cops, when they come to his house.

sure its ok if you want a B&E on your record..all though I would think it be fun to steal all his fire works LOL. But call the police and let them know whats going on, the a$$hole could burn your house down.

I think calling the cops should suffice. You don't want to be another one of the bodies in his basement.

Don't break in! You will be the lawbreaker then! Can you ask him to stop firing them toward your house? If you don't feel comfortable talking to him, call the police and ask them what you can do.

He sounds like the type of guy that you don't want to break into his house, most likely will shoot you and he will have the right to

From what you are saying, they don't sound "right" -- call the cops. Tell them you want them to tell this kid that you didn't make the calll -he'll think it's a neighbor and not you.
