Strange coincidence that she happens to run a stop and just so happens to hit her boy friend's car...hmmm...she's either very unlucky or she was pissed at him for some reason...come on, we hear about road rage all the time and psycho chicks who have been cheated on who bash their boyfriend's cars...isn't she fortunate to come from an influential family with big bucks to cover this up.

You're right, this is old news.
The Laura Bush "now" is gracious, mature, kind, sympathetic, reaches beyond herself, and so on.
The accident sounded like a dumb mistake that even a responsible teenager can make occassionally. (I won't get into how often I see "almost-accidents" caused directly by teens today on cell phones while driving... and I doubt Laura was even doing anything that irresponsible.)
The report concluded that neither person was drinking. No one was charged. There is no indication there was "preferential treatment" involved. Rumor says the victim was thrown from his car, suggesting no seatbelt was used.
All in all, I'm not sure why you're dredging up a tragedy from decades past.
I would worry more about her husband, to be honest, who has currently made some questionable decisions. Sometimes I think Laura would do better (if they could switch), because she thinks before doing things and is sensitive to people's needs and feelings.

those answerers may be humorous in the journey that they weren't so scary. i am going to't believe human beings like that exist in this u . s . a .. This obviously isn't previous information because that maximum persons have not in any respect heard of it. and secondly, multiple solutions mark you as a 'professional-unlawful' and say that you attempt to apply this to describe Iraq. fairly? What? Do those human beings even study the (obviously not a) question. that is likewise humorous that the knee jerk reaction from conservatives ifor all of their wrongdoings is to point at one Democrat who did some thing once. the version between Kennedy and that is that Kennedy drove off a bridge killing his passenger. Ms. Bush drove headlong into yet another motor vehicle that befell to be wearing her boyfriend. with the exception of the particular undeniable actuality that for most human beings asserting "Bush" makes them orgasm and asserting "Kennedy" makes them throw issues, which of the circumstances above sounds extra suspicious?

It doesn't change my opinion of her. It's not her fault she got away with it. It was an accident, anyway. It doesn't change her character any. Teenagers are not smart and do some really dumb things. I think having to live with what happened for the rest of her life is a pretty good punishment. Anyway, her not receiving a punishment under the law is the law's fault, not hers.

I think she hit the wrong boyfriend, she should have waited 15-20 years then done that.

Ah well, we always kill that which we love.
And besides, just look at her punishment - being married to Dubya.
Wouldn't that fit the definition of "cruel and unusual?"

No .. accidents 40 years ago when people were young and stupid doesn't really have much meaning four decades later.
Unless you are stupid or something.

Wow, that's deep. I never knew that. You learn something new everyday. Well it was an accident, so I don't hold it against her.
